This page provides download links for the latest Lua for LabVIEW releases, patches, and the data logger add-on. When upgrading from a prior release, review the change log to see what is new. Note that this release of Lua for LabVIEW requires a valid activation in order for Lua for LabVIEW to work on your system. Refer to the licensing section in the FAQ for more information.
These packages are OpenG packages that can be installed with VI Package Manager (VIPM). VIPM should normally be automatically installed by recent versions of LabVIEW. If you have an older version of LabVIEW or need to install VIPM for any reason you can download it free of charge from the JKI website here.
Lua for LabVIEW 2.0.5 Toolkit (10.8 MB). This is the Lua for LabVIEW 2.0 release for Windows and Linux that includes the base functionality to integrate Lua into your LabVIEW application.
NI-VISA module for Lua for LabVIEW 2.0.1 (269 kB). This is a binary module that allows Lua scripts executed from Lua for LabVIEW to access the NI-VISA API for instrumentation control.
.Net interface for Lua for LabVIEW 2.0.4 (174 kB). This is a binary module that allows Lua scripts executed from Lua for LabVIEW to access the Microsoft Windows .Net Framework.Lua for LabVIEW 2.0 Client-Server Framework (1.7 MB). This is the client-server framework that can be used to connect transparently to remote applications that use Lua for LabVIEW and the client-server framework. It is the base architecture used for the SCADA/datalogging add-on below. This package requires the LuaVIEW Toolkit in order to work.
